A holiday trip to Romania, based in Bucharest and special experiences in the Carpathians, Brasov and the Christmas Markets. Transylvania, the legend of Count Dracula and the atmosphere of the decorated towns make for a picture-perfect winter escape.

Day 1 · November 29: Heraklion – Bucharest

Meeting at Heraklion airport and departure via Athens to Bucharest. First acquaintance with "little Paris", the illuminated streets, the decorated squares and the wooden houses of the Christmas Market. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2 · November 30: Carpathia – Sinaia – Predeal – Bran – Brasov

After breakfast, full-day winter drive to the Carpathians. Visit to Sinaia, Peles Palace and Sinaia Monastery. We continue to Predeal and Bran's Tower, known as Dracula's Tower. In Brasov we tour the main square, the Black Church, the Greek Church of the Holy Trinity and the festively decorated historic center. Return to Bucharest.

Day 3 · December 1: Bucharest & Christmas Markets

Panoramic tour of the most important sights of the Romanian capital: House of the Free Press, Arc de Triomphe, Government, University, National Theatre, Opera and Concert Hall. Walk in the historical center, with the Greek Monastery of Stavropolis and the Russian Church. Free time at the Christmas Market for a walk, shopping and traditional tastes.

Day 4 · December 2: Herastraou Park

Walk in Herastraou Park, next to the lake, and free time for rest or personal activities. Optionally, possibility to visit the Baths of Bucharest. In the afternoon, a walk to the center and the Christmas Markets is recommended.

Day 5 · December 3: Optional excursion to the Black Sea

Optional day trip to Tsernitsa Monastery, Danube, Constanta and Mamaia. Tour of Constanta with Ovidiu Square, Casino, Old Lighthouse and Church of Peter and Paul. Free time for shopping in a mall and the possibility of a cable car ride in Mamaia. Return to Bucharest.

6th day · December 4: Bucharest – Heraklion

Breakfast, visit to the Village Museum, transfer to the airport and return flight via Athens to Heraklion.

Interamerican EXTRA II optional insurance: €25 per person.
Entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites and municipal fees.
Optional excursion to Constanta: €80 per person, with a minimum participation of 20 people.
Cable car in Constanta: about 8€.

Prices: Super Promo €749 for an adult, €649 for a child in a triple room up to 11.99 years old and single bed surcharge +€160. Promo: €799 / €699 respectively. Regular price: €849 / €749 respectively.

Terms of offer: The Super Promo price is valid for the first participations with a non-refundable deposit of €300 per person, up to 60 days before departure. The Promo price is activated with an advance payment of €300 per person up to 45 days before departure. Payment 25 days before departure. The offers are valid until seats are sold out.

Travel documents: In many European countries you can travel with a new type of identity card. Alternatively, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return. Travelers of non-Greek nationality or holders of non-Greek passports must be informed by the relevant embassy of any visa requirements.

The order of excursions and guided tours may change, without omitting anything included in the program.
