Program

Day 1: Heraklion – Istanbul
Flight to Istanbul. Arrival, meeting with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Free time for a first acquaintance with the city. In the evening, we recommend a walk on the legendary avenue of Peran (Istiklal Caddesi), with shops, restaurants and patisseries. Overnight.

Day 2: Constantinople – Patriarchate – Closed Market
After breakfast, departure with the guide for the old town. Visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Hagia Sophia of Justinian, Hagia Irene, Roman Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and the Royal Cistern of Justinian. Then a visit to the Grand Bazaar. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise – Dolmabahce Palace
After breakfast visit to Dolmabahçe Palace, the last residence of the Sultans and administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. Then board the boat for a Bosphorus cruise, with views of the bridge connecting Europe and Asia and the mansions of the shores. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Princess (optional)
After breakfast, free day. An optional excursion to the enchanting Prince Islands is recommended, with a visit to Halki and then Prince. Return to Istanbul in the afternoon.

5th day: Istanbul – Heraklion
After breakfast, free time. Meeting with the driver at the prearranged time, transfer to the airport and flight to Heraklion.
