Travel schedule

Organized trip from Athens to northern and southern Thailand, with 4* superior and 5* hotels, Greek-speaking escort and excursion to the Phi Phi Islands.

Day 1: Athens – Bangkok

Meet at the airport and fly via stopover to Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok – Maeklong – Damnoen Saduak

Arrive and visit Maeklong Railway Market. Boating at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Return to Bangkok, check in at the hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Bangkok – Sightseeing and Cruise

Visit the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, cross the river and get a panoramic view of Wat Arun. Visit to Asiatique Market. Gift Romantic Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise.

Day 4: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi – River Kwai

Excursion to Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, Allied Cemetery and Bridge on the River Kwai. Local train ride on the Death Railway. Return to Bangkok, stopping at ICON SIAM if time permits.

Day 5: Bangkok – Chiang Rai

Morning flight to Chiang Rai. Visit Wat Rong Khun White Temple, Baan Dam Black House Museum and Wat Rong Suea Ten Blue Temple. Tour the Clock Tower and the Night Market. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Mae Sai

Visit the Golden Triangle and the Golden Buddha, boating on the Mekong and visiting the Opium Museum. Continue to the border town of Mae Sai and return to the hotel.

Day 7: Chiang Rai – Karen Village – Chiang Mai

Departure by road with a visit to Karen village. Tour of Chiang Mai Old Town, the historic walls, Thapae Gate and the Three Kings Monument. Free time for the night market.

Day 8: Chiang Mai – Mae Taeng – Khantoke Dinner

Excursion to Mae Taeng Valley and Mae Tang Elephant Camp, with demonstration and short elephant ride as per schedule. Bamboo raft ride on the river. Traditional Khantoke dinner with dances.

Day 9: Chiang Mai – Phuket

Fly to Phuket and tour the Old Town and Wat Chalong. Check in at the hotel.

Day 10: Phuket – Phi Phi Islands

Full day boat trip with other travelers to Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Stop at Maya Bay and Khai Island, snorkelling where permitted. Typical lunch and return to the hotel. The program states that no swimming is allowed in Maya Bay.

Day 11: Phuket – Free day

Free day for relaxation. Optional lunch excursion to James Bond Island, with canoe rides by local guides.

Day 12: Phuket – Bangkok – Return flight

Flight to Bangkok and evening departure to Athens via Bahrain.

13th day: Athens

Morning arrival in Athens.

Departure 29/12/2026: The trip lasts 14 days, with 11 nights in hotels and an additional night in Bangkok at the beginning of the program.

General information

Departures: 25/12/2026–06/01/2027 (13 days, 10 nights in hotels) and 29/12/2026–11/01/2027 (14 days, 11 nights in hotels). Departures also from Thessaloniki upon notification of the price.

Duration: The 12/25 departure covers 12 total nights of travel, of which 10 are in hotels. The 12/29 departure covers 13 total nights of travel, of which 11 are in hotels.

Point to confirm: The amenities list two domestic flights, while the detailed schedule describes three legs: Bangkok–Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai–Phuket and Phuket–Bangkok.

Check-in after 14:00 and check-out by 11:00. The order of the program can be changed without skipping.

Travel documents according to PDF: Passport with at least six months validity from departure from destination country and mandatory Thai entry card. The PDF reports its release from the office.
