Travel schedule

Easter trip to Vietnam with culture, nature, local flavors and cruises. Departures April 24 and 27, 2027 from Athens and Thessaloniki.

Day 1–2: Athens / Thessaloniki – Hanoi

Evening flight with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. Arrival in Hanoi, meeting with local guide, transfer to hotel and free time.

Day 3: Hanoi – City tour

Breakfast and visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, Presidential Palace and his house, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Museum of Ethnology, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and Old Town Market. Return to the hotel.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Breakfast and road transfer to Halong Bay. Embark for a two-day cruise among the limestone formations. Seafood and Vietnamese food lunch, kayaking in Luon Cave and visiting Titov Island for swimming. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5: Halong – Hanoi – Da Nang – Hoi An

Tai chi and breakfast on board. Visit Sung Sot Cave on Bo Hon Island and return to Tuan Chau Port. Transfer to Hanoi airport, flight to Da Nang and transfer to hotel in Hoi An.

Day 6: My Son – Hoi An

Breakfast and excursion to My Son Holy Land with visit to Tra Kieu and ancient ruins. After lunch, tour Hoi An Old Town: Kwan Temple, Phuc Kien Pagoda, Tan Ky House, Japanese Bridge and local market. Free time for walking and shopping.

Day 7: Hoi An – Free day

Breakfast and free day for the city and the beach. Optional excursion to Ba Na Hills by cable car, Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens, Linh Ung Pagoda, Golden Bridge, French Village, Chua Peak, Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple and Tru Vu Teahouse. The optional excursion is described with a buffet lunch and a visit to the Fantasy Park, with some free games depending on the venue's policy. Return to the hotel.

Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hue

Breakfast and road transfer via Lang Co Beach and Hai Van Pass. Tour of Hue Imperial City, Forbidden City, Nguyen Palace Complex and Khai Dinh Tomb. Lunch and cruise on the Perfume River with a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda. Check in at the hotel.

Day 9: Hue – Saigon

Breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon). Transfer and check-in at the hotel.

Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnel – Saigon

Breakfast and excursion to the Ku Chi area to visit the museum and tour the tunnels. Return to Saigon and lunch. Tour of Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office. If there is time, visit Ben Thanh market.

Day 11–12: Mekong Delta – Return

Breakfast and room delivery. Excursion to the Mekong Delta and boating at Ben Tre. Visit to local market, coconut workshop and carpet weaving house. Village tour, fresh fruit tasting and a tuk-tuk or bike ride. Lunch at a riverside restaurant, return by boat and evening transfer to the airport. Flight via Istanbul and morning arrival in Athens or Thessaloniki the next day.

Useful information and terms

Dates: 24/04–05/05/2027 and 27/04–08/05/2027. The total duration is 12 days, with 9 nights in hotels/ship and 2 nights on flights.

Prices: €2,595 per person in a double room, with taxes. The special price concerns a limited number of participations and reservation with advance payment until 31/01/2027. Then a surcharge of €100 per person. Surcharge for single bed €445. Child discount in triple room up to 12 years 15%. Infant price 0–2 years €200.

Reservation: 35% down payment, presentation of travel documents and signing of travel contract. Payment 30 days before departure.

Program cancellations: Up to 46 days before departure €150 per person; 31–45 days 40%; 16–30 days 70%; 0–15 days 100%. Participant replacement up to 15 days in advance without cancellation fees, except for non-transferable or non-refundable services.

Residence: The listed hotels or similar. Possibility of replacement with an equivalent or higher category due to overpayment or force majeure. Triple rooms are double rooms with an additional bed. Room pick-up 15:00, delivery 11:00. Payments at hotels by card or cash.

Flights: All times are local and subject to change until tickets are issued. Group seats are allocated by the airline and adjacent seats are not guaranteed. Possibility to pre-purchase a seat after the issue, approximately 10 days before departure, according to the form. Meals, drinks and entertainment are provided on long flights.

Updates: Changes in fares, taxes, exchange rates or hotel prices may affect the final price. The final tax cost is confirmed at the time of ticketing. The program can be modified by agreement.

Travel documents, according to the form: A visa and passport with at least 6 months validity from arrival and sufficient blank pages are required. Non-holders of a Greek passport must contact the relevant embassy for the visa procedure.

Health update: The form refers to EODY and a personal doctor or travel medicine clinic for personalized information on vaccinations and precautions.
