Fairy Tale Alsace & Black Forest | from Thessaloniki-5 Days

Discover Alsace and the Black Forest with direct Aegean flights, two nights in Heidelberg and two in Strasbourg.

Day 1: Thessaloniki - Frankfurt - Rüdesheim am Rhein - Heidelberg

Meeting at Macedonia airport at 05:40 and direct flight with Aegean. Tour of the historic center of Frankfurt, Römerberg, Römer and the Main Bridge with the Homeric inscription. Continue to Rudesheim, walk on Oberstrasse and Drosselgasse and free time for lunch. Arrival in Heidelberg, check-in at the hotel and free time.

Day 2: Heidelberg - City tour - Neckar River

Tour of the historic center and Hauptstrasse, the churches of the Holy Spirit and the Jesuits, the old university and the Old Bridge. Possibility of a walk along the Path of Philosophers and an optional climb to the Castle. Free time for lunch and walks. Overnight in Heidelberg.

Day 3: Heidelberg - Strasbourg - Optional Ill Cruise

After breakfast departure for Strasbourg. Tour of the old town, Petite France, Cathedral, Place Chateau, Roan Palace and Camerzel House. Free time for coffee or food and check-in at the hotel. Optional 75-minute cruise on the Ill River with views of traditional houses, covered bridges and the European Parliament buildings.

Day 4: Optional Wine Route Tour - Riquewihr - Colmar - Egsheim

Possibility of participating in a day trip to the wine villages of Alsace. First stop in Riquewihr with its vineyards and cobbled streets. Continue to Colmar with its canals and traditional houses and to Egsheim with its circular streets, castle and Renaissance fountains. Return to Strasbourg in the late afternoon. The excursion is charged extra.

Day 5: Strasbourg - Black Forest - Freiburg - Lake Titisee - Thessaloniki

Visit the Black Forest and tour the historic center of Freiburg with its cathedral, town halls and university. Route on the German Clock Road and a short stop at Lake Titisee. Transfer to Stuttgart airport and return flight with Aegean.
