Berlin - Dresden - Potsdam 5 days

Day 1: Athens – East Berlin

Meeting at the airport and direct flight to Berlin. Tour of East Berlin with Karl-Marx-Allee, historic Checkpoint Charlie and surviving sections of the Wall. Familiarity with the history of the division and reunification of the city. Transfer to the hotel, arrangement and overnight stay.

Day 2: West Berlin

Guided tour of Brandenburg Gate, 17th of June Boulevard, Tiergarten Park, Reichstag and Government Complex. Return to the hotel and free afternoon. Suggested individual visit to Hamburger Bahnhof Museum of Contemporary Art. Overnight.

Day 3: Potsdam – Sanssouci Palace

Breakfast and excursion to Potsdam. Entrance and official tour of Sanssouci Palace, panoramic city tour and free time in the historic center for strolling and dining. Return to Berlin in the late afternoon, free afternoon and overnight.

Day 4: Berlin – Optional excursion to Dresden

Breakfast and optional full-day excursion to Dresden, on the banks of the Elbe, at a cost of €40 per person. Tour with the Opera House, the Cathedral, the Town Hall, the Renaissance Palace, the Zwinger Palaces, the Melee Grounds, the Gunpowder Tower, the Canaletto Terrace, the Academy of Fine Arts and the Vettina Cellars. Return to Berlin in the late afternoon and overnight.

Day 5: Berlin – Athens

Breakfast and free time to stroll the Tiergarten or Gendarmenmarkt, shop on the Kurfürstendamm or visit the KaDeWe. Transfer to the airport and return flight to Athens.
