Get to know China through a comprehensive itinerary of Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou Water. The program combines imperial history, impressive monuments, modern metropolises and the unique experience of the bullet train.

Detailed program

1st day: Athens / Thessaloniki – Beijing
Meeting at the airport and flight to Beijing.

Day 2: Beijing
Arrival and first acquaintance with the city. Visit to the Summer Palaces and exterior viewing of the 2008 Olympic facilities, featuring the "Bird's Nest".

Day 3: Beijing – Great Wall
Tour the Great Wall, Juyongguan Pass, and visit the Changling Sacred Area with the Ming Dynasty Imperial Tombs.

Day 4: Beijing
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Hutong traditional bike ride. In the evening we watch an acrobatic show and enjoy a traditional Peking duck dinner.

Day 5: Beijing – Shanghai
Visit the Temple of Heaven and transfer on the state-of-the-art bullet train to Shanghai.

Day 6: Shanghai
Tour the modern metropolis with Jinmao Tower, Shanghai Museum, China Town, Yu Gardens and Jade Buddha Temple. Followed by a cruise on the Huangpu River.

Day 7: Suzhou
Full-day excursion to the picturesque Suzhou, one of the famous water states, with traditional canals, gardens and distinctive architecture.

8th day: Shanghai – Athens
Transfer to the airport and return flight.
