July & August at bella Italia of Specialists! Discover the magic of Italy through a unique 7-day trip that combines culture, history and authentic Italian finesse. From timeless Rome with its iconic monuments and the imposing Vatican, to romantic Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, and picturesque Siena with its medieval aura, each destination reveals a different aspect of Italian beauty.

Continue to enchanting Venice, the city of canals and romance, wander through charming Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, and finish your journey in cosmopolitan Milan, capital of fashion and contemporary Italian style.

1st Day | Rome - Guided tour
Meeting at the airport and flight to the "eternal" city of Rome. Upon arrival, the tour of the "Eternal City" begins. We will visit the Colosseum, the largest surviving ancient Roman amphitheater in the world, and the Arch of Constantine the Great. Passing through the Via Imperiale in the heart of ancient Rome, we will reach the Capitol Hill and Piazza Venezia with the massive monument dedicated to Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of united Italy, which also houses the monument to the Unknown Soldier, the famous Trevi Fountain and finally the bustling Piazza di Spagna. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

2nd Day | Rome - Vatican
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the independent state of the Vatican, to take a tour of its famous museums, with exhibits that include famous statues of the ancient world and the Renaissance, such as the Laocoon complex, the Apollo of the Belvedere, works by Giotto, Raphael, Da Vinci, Caravaggio, etc.. Passing through the famous Corridors of Candlesticks, Tapestries, Geographical Maps and the Halls with Raphael's frescoes, we will end up in the Sistine Chapel with the legendary ceiling painted by Michelangelo. Rest of the day free to take advantage of as you wish. Overnight. For the guided tour of the Vatican Museums, you must register before your departure and pre-pay the entrance fee (75€ for adults and 60€ for children up to 18 years old). Otherwise, we cannot secure your entry to the Vatican Museums.

3rd Day | Rome - Siena - Florence
Breakfast at the hotel. Boarding the bus and departure to visit the medieval Siena. Eleven streets lead to the beautiful central square, Piazza del Campo, dominated by Siena's medieval Town Hall. On our tour of the picturesque cobbled streets of the city, we will admire the medieval mansions, churches and the Cathedral, dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin, which is considered one of the most important works of art in all of Italy. Departure for Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, a city that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Transfer to our hotel. Tidying up the rooms. Rest of the day free in the wonderful city. Overnight.

4th Day | Florence - Mestre
The greatness of the Italian RenaissanceBreakfast at the hotel. On our panoramic tour, we will see Piazza San Giovanni with the Baptistery of St. John and the Renaissance Cathedral, Santa Maria Del Fiore, with Brunelleschi's famous dome. Continuing, we will descend to the Piazza de la Signoria, which adorns the Fountain of Poseidon and a copy of the statue of David by Michelangelo. Here is the Palazzo Vecchio, which today houses the City Hall, and the Loggia with statues of great Florentine sculptors. We continue to the famous Uffizi Gallery, (external visit) the famous and much-photographed Ponte Vecchio bridge with countless jewelry shops, and Piazza Repubblica, one of the most central squares of Florence, with the characteristic Arcone Arch and the historic Gilli and Paszkowski cafes. Free time to visit the San Lorenzo market or visit Palazzo Pitti, the luxurious residence of the Medici. Return to our hotel.

5th Day | Mestre - Venice
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is dedicated to the most romantic city in the world, built on 118 small islands, connected by about 410 bridges, and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. From Tronketo, we will take the vaporetto, at our own expense, and end up in the Kastello area, where the Orthodox Church of Agios Georgios of the Hellenes and the Byzantine Institute are located. Passing picturesque bridges and narrow alleys, we will see the imposing Doge's Palace, a phantasmagoria of pink and white marble in the Venetian-Gothic style, and end up in St. Mark's Square, "the most beautiful drawing room in Europe", as Napoleon described it. Here is the famous St. Mark's Cathedral, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, with impressive mosaics, its bell tower (Campanile), the Clock Tower, the Marcian Library and the famous Carrer Museum. Finally, we will visit one of the few Murano manufacturing workshops. Free time. Then return to our hotel in Mestre, settling in the rooms. Overnight.

6th Day | Mestre - Verona - Milan
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the romantic Verona, the city of Shakespeare's eternal lovers, on the banks of the river Adige. In the central Piazza Bra we will see the famous Roman Arena, and we will continue to the beautiful Piazza del Erbe and dei Signori, surrounded by excellently preserved medieval buildings, and of course the "Capulets' mansion" with the legendary Juliet's balcony. Free time and late afternoon transfer to our hotel in Milan and check-in. Overnight.

7th Day | Milan - Tour & Return
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, on the last day of our trip, we will get to know the financial capital of Italy, Milan. We will see the Sforza castle, Piazza del Duomo which is the central square of the city and took its name from the imposing cathedral of Milan. The impressive Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is the seat of the city's archbishop and is considered one of the most important Cathedrals in the world. We will visit the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, named after the first king of united Italy. The building consists of two glass vaulted arcades and connects the Piazza del Duomo with the Piazza della Scala. The La Scala Opera House, or La Scala in Milan, is one of the most famous opera houses in the world and took its name from the church that stood in the same location, Santa Maria della Scala. Afterwards, transfer to Milan airport for our return flight to Athens.
