Excursion program

6-day holiday trip to Norway, departing from Athens on December 22 or 29, 2026, accommodation in central 3* or 4* hotels and half board.

Day 1: Athens – Oslo – Bergen

Flight with AEGEAN to Oslo and connection with SCANDINAVIAN to Bergen. Transfer and check-in at ZANDER K 4* hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Bergen – Gingerbread Town

Breakfast and visit to Gingerbread Town. Outdoor tour of Håkonshallen, Rosenkrantz Tower and Grieghallen. Visit the fish market and the historic Bryggen district. Fløibanen climb up Fløyen hill with pre-booked and paid tickets. Free time, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Bergen – Voss – Flam

Breakfast and route between lakes, rivers and fjords. Stop in Voss and climb by cable car to Mount Hanguren, at an altitude of 820 m. Continue to Flam, check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight. On departure 29/12/2026 the accommodation is in Voss instead of Flam.

Day 4: Flam – Fjord Cruise – Gundwagen – Oslo

Breakfast and two-hour cruise from Flåm to Gudvangen via Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, with pre-booked and paid tickets. Visit Viking Valley, except departure 22/12/2026 when closed for Christmas. Departure for Oslo and check-in at the BASTION 4* hotel in standard rooms. Dinner and overnight stay. The cruise is subject to weather and sea conditions.

Day 5: Oslo – National Museum – Fram – Kon-Tiki

Breakfast and guided tour of Oslo with Parliament, Royal Palace, City Hall and Opera House. Visit to the National Museum, except for the 22/12/2026 departure due to a public holiday. Continue to the Bygdøy peninsula and visit Fram and Kon-Tiki museums. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

6th day: Oslo – Athens

Transfer to Oslo airport and return flight to Athens.

Useful information

Departures: 22–27/12/2026 and 29/12/2026–03/01/2027.
The 22/12 departure does not include the visit to Viking Valley and the entrance to the National Museum of Oslo, due to closure for Christmas.
On departure 29/12 accommodation is in Voss instead of Flam.
Cruise may not take place due to frost or ice formation preventing safe navigation.
The order of visits may change. The final program is provided with the travel information.
Optional excursions are carried out at the responsibility of the local partner and depend on the participations and the availability/price of the coaches.
Triples are usually doubles with an extra bed, sofa or folding bed, with possibly limited comfort.
Room check-in is usually 15:00–17:00 and check-out is 10:00–12:00, depending on the hotel.
For travelers over the age of 75, information on special insurance plans is required at the time of booking.
