Grand Panorama of China with Zoulakis Travel: from the Great Wall and the Clay Army to modern Chongqing, the water states and Shanghai. Departure from Athens on April 24 and return on May 7, 2027. Total duration 14 days with 11 nights in 5* hotels.

Day 1: Athens – Beijing

Meeting at Athens airport and departure with Turkish Airlines for Beijing via Istanbul.

Day 2: Arrival in Beijing

Arrival, entry procedures and transfer to the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay.

Day 3: Beijing

Guided tour of Tien An Men Square and introduction to the Forbidden City. Ride on traditional two-wheeled Hutongs and visit the Temple of Heaven. Chinese acrobatics show and traditional Peking duck dinner.

Day 4: Beijing – Great Wall

Excursion to the Great Wall, Jinyongguan Pass, with time for walking and photos. Continue to Changling District and Ming Dynasty Imperial Tombs. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Beijing – Xi'an

Visit the Summer Palace, with its palaces, gardens and Kunming Lake. Transfer by high-speed train to Xi'an. Transfer to the hotel and dinner.

Day 6: Sian

Visit the Clay Army, Big Goose Pagoda and the Muslim quarter. Dinner at the Grand Opera House with a traditional spectacle, dancing and colorful costumes.

Day 7: Xi'an – Chongqing

Guided tour of the walls of Xi'an and outside visit to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Transfer to the station and travel by high-speed train to Chongqing. Transfer to the hotel and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Chongqing

Excursion to Dazu rock carvings. Return to the city and tour the Liberation Monument, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Kuixing Building Rooftop Plaza and Chaotianmen Wharf at the confluence of the rivers. Evening stroll in the illuminated Hongyadong area and western buffet dinner.

Day 9: Chongqing – Hanzhou

Panoramic view from the Cloud Eye Observation Deck. Visit Liziba station, where the train passes through a block of flats, the Three Gorges Museum and the old town of Ciqikou. Dinner, transfer to airport and flight to Handshoe. Overnight.

Day 10: Hanzhou – Suzhou

Visit to the Pagoda of the Six Harmonies and boating in the West Lake. Tour the historic Hefang Street and visit a tea plantation. Road departure for Suzhou, dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Suzhou – Juzhuang – Shanghai

Guided tour of Linger Garden and Tiger Hill. Continue to the water state of Juzhuang, with its canals, narrow streets and stone bridges. Boating with traditional vessels. Arrival in Shanghai, transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Shanghai

Visit Jinmao Tower, China Town and Yu Gardens. Walk on the Bund with a view of Pudong and get to know Nanjing Avenue. Huang Pu River cruise at dusk. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Shanghai – Return flight

Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the restored Zhang Yuan complex and the museum mentioned in the program, with collections of Chinese art. Dinner at a local restaurant and transfer to the airport for the evening flight back via Istanbul.

14th day: Athens

Arrival in Athens and completion of the trip.
