Rome - Naples - Amalfi Coast | 6 days

A journey from lively Naples to the Eternal City, with ancient Pompeii, the monuments of Rome and the option of an optional Amalfi Coast cruise.

Day 1: Athens – Naples – City tour

Meeting at Eleftherios Venizelos airport at 14:30 and direct flight with EasyJet. Arrival, meeting the leader and getting to know Naples: Lungomare beach, Santa Lucia, Castel dell’Ovo, Royal Palace, Piazza del Plebiscito, Galleria Umberto I and Teatro San Carlo. Walking tour of the historic center, Spaccanapoli, Via San Gregorio Armeno and the Cathedral. Free time and check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: Naples – Optional Amalfi Coast Cruise – Positano

Breakfast and the possibility of participating in an optional cruise along the Amalfi Coast, with an additional cost of €45–50 per person. The program describes a departure from Marina Grande, a stop in Positano with free time and a continuation to Salerno to get to know the historic center and its attractions. Return to Naples and overnight.

Day 3: Naples – Pompeii – Rome

After breakfast departure for the archaeological site of Pompeii and a tour of the cobbled streets, mansions, market, temples and theaters of the ancient city. Input and headphones not included. Continue to Rome, a journey of approximately 3.5–4 hours. Arrival in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel.

Day 4: Rome – Panoramic and walking tour

Breakfast and tour of Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Palazzo Montecitorio, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia and Roman Markets, ending at the Colosseum. Optional internal visit to the Colosseum at your own expense. For the evening, a self-guided walk in Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori and Trastevere is recommended.

Day 5: Vatican – Saint Peter – Castel Sant’Angelo

Breakfast and departure for the Vatican. The entrance and guided tour with headphones in the Vatican Museums costs an additional €60 per person. The program includes the collections, the Tapestry and Map rooms, the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel. Time for a self-guided visit to Agios Petros and a free walk in the historic center, with a suggestion of Castel Sant'Angelo. In the afternoon, optional excursion to Tivoli and Villa d'Este, at a cost not mentioned in the program.

6th day: Rome – Catacombs – Athens

Breakfast and visit to the Catacombs of Rome, offered as a gift. Time for last rides or shopping depending on flight time. Transfer to the airport and return to Athens with Ryanair.
