Detailed program

Organized tour of Australia and New Zealand, departing on 23 October and 11 November 2026. Cosmopolitan cities, unique wildlife, stunning coastlines and an introduction to Maori culture.

1st day: Athens / Thessaloniki – Sydney

Meet at the airport and fly via a stopover to Sydney.

Day 2: Sydney

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free time for rest or a first acquaintance with the center and the historic Rocks district.

Day 3: Sydney – Sightseeing and Night Cruise

Full day tour of the Rocks area, Opera House outside, Harbor Bridge, Darling Harbor and downtown. Introduction to the suburbs of Elizabeth Bay, Rose Bay, Bondi Beach and The Gap. In the evening cruise with dinner and a view of illuminated Sydney. Return to the hotel.

Day 4: Sydney – Blue Mountains

Excursion to the Blue Mountains National Park, with eucalyptus forests, canyons and the Three Sisters formations. Visit Featherdale Wildlife Park with kangaroos and koalas. Cable car, Skyway and scenic railway routes. Return to Sydney and free time.

Day 5: Sydney – Free day

Free day for harbor walks, visiting museums or Bondi Beach and exploring the Rocks and Darling Harbour. Possibility to participate in the optional two-day program at Ayers Rock.

Day 6: Sydney – Cairns

Transfer to airport and flight to Cairns. Check in at the hotel and evening stroll along the Esplanade beach promenade. Overnight.

Day 7: Cairns – Great Barrier Reef

Full day Great Barrier Reef cruise, with BBQ lunch during the excursion. Return to Cairns in the afternoon.

Day 8: Cairns – Melbourne

Transfer to the airport and flight to Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria.

Day 9: Melbourne – Phillip Island

Melbourne Morning Tour: Historic Center and Swanston Street, Greek Quarter, Paris End and Parliament, Botanic Gardens and War Memorial, Captain Cook's Cottage, St Patrick's Cathedral, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Yarra River and St Kilda. Continue to Phillip Island Nature Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. Watch the parade of little penguins at sunset from a special platform. Back late at night.

Day 10: Melbourne – Great Ocean Road

Excursion on the Great Ocean Road with stops at the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and the London Arch natural formation. Lunch at a restaurant in the Apollo Bay area. Return to Melbourne in the evening.

Day 11: Melbourne – Auckland

Fly to Auckland in New Zealand's North Island. The program provides a backpack with essentials for three days. Transfer to the hotel and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 12: Auckland – Waitomo Caves – Rotorua

Morning tour of Auckland with panoramic views of Mt Eden, Domain, Parnell District and downtown. Visit the Waitomo Caves with their bright dome. Drive through the green hinterland to Rotorua and check into the hotel. In the evening, introduction to Maori culture, traditional dances and Hangi dinner.

Day 13: Rotorua – Hobbiton – Auckland – Melbourne

Visit to Hobbiton, the filming location of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Tour the farm, the Hobbit houses, Bag End and the watermill. Stop at the Green Dragon Inn and get to know the secrets of filming. Transfer to Auckland airport, flight to Melbourne and return to hotel.

Day 14: Melbourne – Return flight

Transfer to the airport and night flight via an intermediate station to Athens / Thessaloniki.

15th day: Athens / Thessaloniki

Arrival in Athens / Thessaloniki.

General information

Departures: 23/10/2026 and 11/11/2026. The program foresees a departure from Athens and a possibility from Thessaloniki with a price upon notification.

Duration: 15 days, with 12 nights in hotels and 2 nights of air travel.

Prices: 23/10: €5,390 + €1,190 taxes = €6,580 per person in a double room. 11/11: €5,190 + €1,190 taxes = €6,380. Single charge €1,150.

Optional two day Ayers Rock / Uluru

It takes place on the 5th and 6th day of the main program. Fly from Sydney to Ayers Rock, visit Uluru National Park and watch the sunset with snacks and local wine. Overnight in the area. The next day watch the sunrise and fly to Cairns, where you will be reunited with the group.

Cost €980 per person in a double room, with plane tickets. Surcharge for single bed €150. Minimum participation of 6 people.

Travel documents according to the form: Passport valid for at least 6 months from departure from the destination country. Send color electronic copy in PDF 10–300 KB at least 20 days before departure. The form does not specify procedures or costs of visas / electronic entry permits.

Flights: Times are listed as written on the form. Arrival in Sydney is on day 2 as per the itinerary. Arrival in Istanbul on the return is the next day. No domestic flight times or baggage limits are listed.

The order of the program may vary without omitting the listed services.
