Eight-day guided tour of Egypt, from the shores of the Red Sea and St. Catherine of Sinai to Cairo and Alexandria. Departures 22/12/2026 and 29/12/2026.

Day 1: Athens - Sharm El Sheikh

Meeting at Athens airport and direct flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay with All Inclusive facilities.

Day 2: Sharm El Sheikh - Free day

Breakfast and free day for beaches and water activities. Optional visit to Ras Mohammed National Park for snorkeling or diving. Overnight stay with All Inclusive.

3rd day: Sharm - Holy Monastery of Saint Catherine of Sinai

Breakfast and departure for the Holy Monastery of Agia Ekaterini at the foot of Mount Sinai. Pilgrimage and guided tour to the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration, the chapel of Agia Vatos, the well of Moses and the Vault, according to the program. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight. Optional climb to the Holy Peak with Bedouin guides, departing at 23:00, for those who can participate.

Day 4: Sinai - Faran - Cairo

Breakfast and departure for Cairo. Stop at the Holy Women's Sanctuary of the Prophet Moses in the oasis of Faran, next to the Sinai Monastery. Arrival in Cairo, check-in at the hotel and overnight.

Day 5: Cairo - Pyramids of Giza - Sphinx - New GEM Museum

Breakfast and full day tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Stop at papyrus and perfume workshops. Lunch at a local restaurant and return to the hotel.

Day 6: Cairo - Sitandela - Agios Georgios - Khan el Khalili

Breakfast and visit to the Acropolis of Saladin and the Holy Church of Agios Georgios. Lunch at a local restaurant and a tour of the Khan el Khalili bazaar. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 7: Full day excursion to Alexandria

After breakfast departure for Alexandria. Visits to the Patriarchate and the Cathedral, the Cavafy House, the Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs and the modern Library of Alexandria. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Cairo and overnight.

8th day: Cairo - Athens

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for the direct flight back to Athens.

The order of the program can be changed without missing visits.

General information and terms

Departures and prices

22-29/12/2026: €1,599 per person in a double room, single bed surcharge €570. 29/12/2026-05/01/2027: €1,655 per person in a double room, single bed charge €599. Child discount on a triple room up to 11.99 years old: €250. Domestic connecting flight from Thessaloniki or islands: from €140.

Flights and baggage

Times are local and subject to change. Suitcase and carry-on luggage included, no weight limit mentioned on the form. Group seats are allocated by the airline. Pre-purchase of specific seats can be done after the tickets have been issued.

Residence

Hotels may be replaced with hotels of the same category. The triple room is described as a room with a king size bed and an extra roll away bed. Check-in at 15:00 and check-out at 12:00. A credit card or security deposit may be required.

Travel documents according to the form

A new passport valid for at least 6 months after travel and one blank page is required. A visa is required, which is issued on arrival. A photocopy of the passport is requested at least 15 days before departure.

Booking and payment

Definitive booking with advance payment within 24 hours, passports sent and travel contract signed. First deposit €450 per person, second deposit €400 per person. Payment 44 days before departure.

Cancellations as stated on the form

The deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations 31-45 days before departure a 70% fee is charged, while for 44-0 days a 100% fee is charged. Intervals overlap and require written confirmation. Participant replacement up to 15 days before departure without cancellation fees, except for non-transferable and non-refundable services.

Source Clarifications

Saqqara is mentioned in the list of benefits, but does not appear in the detailed daily schedule. The amenities list also mentions a meal at Le Pachat 1901, while the day program mentions local restaurants. Confirmation of specific points is required.

Issue of form: 01/09/2026. Any changes in fares, taxes or the Euro/Dollar exchange rate may incur a charge. Each new version of the price list supersedes the previous one.
